02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook halal ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, approximately 5 to 6 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
03 - Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes until softened.
04 - Stir in frozen mixed vegetables. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
05 - Add condensed mushroom soup, sour cream, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well and simmer for 3 minutes.
06 - Spread meat and vegetable mixture evenly in a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish.
07 - Sprinkle 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture.
08 - Arrange frozen tater tots in a single, even layer on top.
09 - Bake uncovered for 30 minutes until tater tots are golden and crispy.
10 - Remove from oven, sprinkle remaining 1 cup cheddar cheese over tater tots, and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
11 - Let cool for 5 minutes, garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.
