01 - Bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil in a small pot or kettle.
02 - Add black tea bags to the boiling water. Let steep for 4–5 minutes to achieve a strong brew, then remove and discard the tea bags.
03 - While the tea remains hot, stir in the sugar continuously until completely dissolved.
04 - Allow the sweetened tea to cool to room temperature, then stir in the fresh lime juice.
05 - Fill two tall glasses generously with ice cubes. Pour the lime-infused tea over the ice until each glass is nearly full.
06 - Place a fresh lime slice on the rim of each glass. For a creamy variation, drizzle ½ tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk over each drink and stir gently before serving.
