01 - Place the lemon on a cutting board and trim off both ends.
02 - Stand the lemon upright and cut it in half lengthwise.
03 - Lay each half cut-side down and slice lengthwise again to create quarters.
04 - Slice each quarter in half lengthwise to yield 8 even wedges.
05 - Remove any visible seeds using the tip of your knife or your fingers.
06 - Arrange lemon wedges on a plate or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until needed.
